The Pre-Employment Training Programme is designed to help unemployed individuals address their barriers to work, improving their chances of securing employment.

TNG provide training and support for these individuals to ensure they are upskilled or reskilled in preparation for employment in local labour markets . TNG will continue to support individuals once in the workforce through Train to Gain or Apprenticeships.

A Programme Led Apprenticeship (PLA) is an apprenticeship programme which combines classroom learning with hands-on experience. Individuals will build up knowledge and skills in the workplace, gain qualifications and get work experience in a chosen industry.

Pre-Apprenticeships are designed to give additional support and encouragement to young people enabling them to enter Apprenticeship training.

An Apprenticeship programme is a great way to increase career prospects at the same time as gaining a national recognised qualification, combining a job with high quality training.
