Response to Redundency
Helping people to find rewarding new work through funded advice, support, training and development.
Perhaps you are facing the prospect of redundancy, have recently been made redundant or are looking to return to work after a gap in employment?
If you think your job is at risk or you have been out of work for less than 6 months there is a package of support services to guide you into the right job for you. You may be eligible for advice and support to certify your current skills, re-train to change your career path and access appropriate training and development to improve your job prospects.
Whatever type of support you require, you will receive help to:
- Access your current skills.
- Discuss what direction you would like your career to take.
- Discuss the training options to improve your existing skills or to change your career direction.
- Discuss employment opportunities.
- Discuss opportunities for self employment.
Some people use redundancy as an opportunity to become self employed. If you think this might be for you, we can offer advice to get you started. Or perhaps you’d like assistance with ‘soft skills’ such as CV preparation, job search and interview techniques?
The support will be tailored specifically to meet your needs.
