Q: How do I search for training courses?
A:

To start with go to this page. From there either click on a link or enter in keywords to start a guided search.

Alternatively you may search for training within a certain distance of a location by going here


Q: How can I advertise my courses on this site?
A:

To advertise your course on this site you are required to register as a Training Provider you must first create a standard user account (which is free). To create a standard user account, follow this link: http://newsletters.ccn.ac.uk/user

Then proceed to upgrade your account by follow this link http://newsletters.ccn.ac.uk/form/register-training-provider and submit your company information to the Norfolk Chamber of Commerce; once verified you will receive an email and detailed information of how to upload your business and course information and manage your account (there is no charge for this service).


Q: Where can I find information on funding for training?
A:

To find out about all the latest funding information to do with training please go to the funding section within this site


Q: What does it cost to register as a training provider and put my company details and courses on the site?
A:

There is no cost involved to have your company and course details on the site. All companies that sign up to the site receive the “Bronze” package which includes; company name, address, e-mail, phone number, website and a list of courses free of charge.


Q: I've registered as a Training Provider, How do I add my training to the site?
A:

Once you've received the e-mail confirming that you've been made an admin of your company's profile page, simply go to that page and in the top left corner there will be a purple box with a "create course" link that you simply click on to add in your information.


Q: How can I give feedback on a course?
A:

At the bottom of every course is the option to rate that particular course out of 5 stars (1 being the lowest and 5 being the highest). You may also leave any comments you wish about the course for others to see. You must login to rate and/or comment however so be sure to register as a user here if you haven't already.


Q: Is it possible to increase my profile on Skill up?
A:

All training providers receive the Bronze package (Company name, address, e-mail, phone number, website and list of courses) free of charge. However an increased profile is possible with either the Silver or Gold membership. The Silver package includes all the bronze features, plus your company logo, a 1000 character company description/information and 1 picture to upload on the profile. The Gold package includes all the bronze features, plus your company logo, an unlimited company description/information, 6 pictures and 2 video links (one to be uploaded and one to be imported from YouTube).

Q: What are the costs for upgrading my profile?
A:

£15 a month (for 12 months) for the Silver Membership, and £25 a month (for 12 months) for the gold package


Q: How can I pay for an upgrade to my account?
A:

You can either pay the full amount by card or you can pay by monthly direct debit.


Q: Can I upgrade my package at a later date?
A:

Yes, you can upgrade at any time by contacting our Skill up team on 01603 729 715 or by e-mailing jason.williams@norfolkchamber.co.uk.
