Warehousing & Storage (Level 2)
The Level 2 NVQ in Warehousing and Storage is mainly aimed at candidates who undertake a variety of warehousing, storage and logistics activities at Level 2. The qualification is about the safe and efficient collection, management, storage, handling and dispatch of goods in a warehousing environment. Candidates should have a degree of autonomy and be required to make decisions within agreed boundaries and limits.
Your assessor visits you regularly and you create a portfolio of work that involves logs and statements, which can be recorded or written, in conjunction with your employer.
To achieve this award, candidates will need to show competence in the following areas and complete 2 mandatory units, plus any six units from the optional group (total eight units).

- Effectively receive goods from deliveries
- Dispatch goods and materials from a warehouse environment
- Placing goods in storage and effectively access goods
- Operate IT systems in a warehouse environment
