Risk assessment (Generic assessment process)

Risk assessment is simply a thorough a examination of what in the workplace may cause harm, and deciding if enough has been done done control the risks or whether more can be done.

As a requirement of the Management of Health & safety regulations states that employers must make suitable and sufficient assessment of the risks at work to their employees.

Course duration: 1 day (8 hrs)

Course objectives: To enable delegates to conduct effective risk assessments of workplace tasks.

Course target delegates: Managers, Safety officers, Responsible persons.

Methods of prevention.

Delegates will complete a multi choice test paper and practical risk assessment to demonstrate their understanding.
