Introduction to British Sign Language

Summary:
Training will give members of staff basic signing skills that will enable them to communicate successfully with deaf members of the public and is aimed mainly at frontline staff dealing with deaf members of the public on a regular basis.
Duration:
Training normally lasts 20 hours – usually over 10 weeks at 2 hours.
Entry requirements:
There are no entry requirements for this training. Learners will be able to obtain an Entry level 2 Award in Signing and Receiving Skills in British Sign Language
