This training is appropriate for employees in catering who prepare and serve food, especially those involved in the selection of menus, recipes and ingredients. This qualification is relevant to all catering establishments, particularly those with a captive audience such as health care and education.
This training provides a good basic understanding of nutrition and enables employees to understand the requirements of a balanced diet.
It promotes awareness of differing needs, allergies and food intolerances.
