Foreign Language Training for Business
Training is available at various levels in Chinese, Danish, Dutch, French, German, Greek, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese Russian, Spanish.
At beginners level, short introductory training will allow you to learn to communicate in basic situations you are likely to meet when travelling abroad on business or when entertaining business visitors.
By the end of an introductory course you will be able to cope in simple situations as follows:
• Providing and requesting basic personal information about yourself and your colleagues and work
• Ordering and offering drinks and food in cafés. reading simple menus and signs
• Shopping for basic items e.g. newspapers and stamps
• Reading signs and writing simple lists.
Where time allows, the tutor may, in consultation with the learners, include other relevant topics in the context of your trade/business.
This is for anyone who wishes to acquire some practical language skills for work. No previous knowledge of the language is required.
