Course aims The purpose of this course is to: • Introduce the theories, principles and techniques of social marketing • To understand what social marketing is and isn’t in the context of your work • Overview of social marketing tools and how they can be applied to achieve behavioural goals in target client groups • Practise applying the tools in workshop style environments • Share experiences and learning with like-minded professionals Course outcomes At the end of this course participants will be able to: • Understand the principles of social marketing • Develop practical skills in social marketing • Identify the key components of social marketing within projects • Use social marketing principles and tools within contexts of their work • Facilitate awareness of the benefits of social marketing amongst colleagues back in the workplace
