Summary: 

The Practical Learning Opportunity Programme offers a range of vocational qualifications from which you can select the one best suited to your own needs and aspirations which you will then study alongside your other options. Your teachers and advisors at school will help you to select the best course. You will attend Peterborough Regional College either for a half or a whole day once a week for two years.

We offer courses in the following areas:
• Childcare
• Hair & Beauty
• Construction Level 1 & 2
• Hospitality (Food Preparation & Restaurant Service)
• Public Services
• Travel & Tourism
• GCSE Dance (Intensive one year programme)
• Motor Vehicle
• Engineering Level 2
• Retail
• Health & Social Care
• Engineering/Fabrication & Welding Level 1

Once you have selected a course you will need to complete an application form with your teacher and return it to the College. Application forms can be obtained from your school or by calling the College on 01733 762293.You will be invited to attend the College for a guidance discussion with a course tutor and you will also have the opportunity to look at the College facilities and ask further questions about the course.
