Last chance to apply for Norfolk Knowledge funding
The deadline for a scheme which will provide advice, support and access to EU funding for Norfolk businesses is fast approaching.
Innovating and changing businesses in Norfolk are being urged to get applications in to the Norfolk Knowledge Innovation Panel by next Wednesday in a bid to stimulate economic development in Norfolk.
Successful application to the panel - which is supported by the University of East Anglia and Norfolk County Council - will be given management support from members who are all semi-retired or retired professionals.
The most promising candidates will be awarded EU grant funds from the Vital Rural Area project within the European Regional Development Fund.
Chair of the panel and former lead technologist for innovation at Aviva Richard Garnett, said: “Any organisation wanting help in being more innovative in products, services, processes or strategies could find this scheme useful. Particularly as sources of funding are becoming harder to find.
“We are still looking for more candidates and so if you are undertaking innovation and would like assistance I would urge you to get in touch to see how our experienced members can support you,” he added.
Applications should be submitted by October 12. For more information go to www.NorfolkKnowledge.co.uk or call 01603 591816.
